MRS. OLUFEMI, OGUNBODE -DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Mrs. Ogunbode Elizabeth Oluremi was born on the 26th December, 1963 in Osun State. She attended L.A Primary School, Ipetumodu, Osun State where she obtained her First School Leaving Certificate. Thereafter, she proceeded to Origbo Grammar School, Ipetumodu, Osun State where she obtained her West Africa Examinations Certificate in 1978. In 1996, she obtained Bachelors in Education B.ED in Guidance and Counselling, Language Arts and Master of Social Works in Community Development form the University of Ibadan in 2003.

She assumed duty into the Lagos State Civil Service on the 14th of October, 1996. Her professional membership includes the National Association of Social Workers (NASoW), Guidance Counsellors’ Association of Nigeria (GCAN) and the Institute of Social Workers.   Her professional experience in the Civil Service includes; Office of Local Government (OLGA) Community Development Department as Community Development Officer in 1996 before she was deployed to the Ministry of Rural Development in May 1999 up until 30th December, 2003 where she was redeployed to the Ministry of Youth and Social Development until January 2007. She also served at the Civil Service Commission from January 2007 to 25th November, 2008, Ministry of Rural Development from 12th November, 2008 to August 2009. She served at the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs from 14th of August, 2009 – 24th January, 2010 before deployment to the Ministry of Rural Development that same year until she was subsequently deployed to the Office of Youth and Social Development on the 12th of January, 2012. She was also at the Ministry of women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation (Women Development Centre, Agege Pen Cinema) from the 3rd of August, 2015 before moving to the Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs until the 11th of September, 2015 until her current deployment to the Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Agency (LNSA). 

Mrs. Ogunbode has attended seminars, conferences and workshops which borders on Managerial Performance, Interpersonal skills/motivation, improved public delivery, organisational values/reorientation and grooming for higher responsibility. She also has many unpublished writings to her credit on the job and her practical experiences, generic orientation and core of the job is second to known in Community Development practice as a whole profession.

Her interests include reading, travelling, meeting people and listening to music.
