Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Agency (LNSA) has organised a training programme for all Corps Administrators of the agency on ways of strengthening collaboration with other law enforcement agencies and residents of the State for improved policing and overall security of lives and properties. 

The General Manager of the Agency, Prince Ifalade Oyekan, in his address at the workshop, stated that the programme was organised to enhance the capacity of officers to deliver on their mandate, imploring the participants to be diligent and steadfast in the discharge of their duties.

While stressing the need for regular training of the Agency’s workforce towards the attainment of set goals and objectives, Oyekan advised the officers to be professional in discharging their duties and not put the integrity of LNSA at risk. 

The Guest Speaker, Bolanle Owolabi spoke extensively on the need for the corps officers to study the civil service rules saying “It is the Bible that serves as a guide in the discharge of their statutory responsibilities”. 

She stated that knowledge of the civil service rules will ensure discipline and encourage a sense of duty among officers of the Corps.

Other Facilitators at the training programme include Mr. Oladele Oladiran from the Lagos State Civil Service Commission; Mr. Temitope Saka from the Office of Establishment and Training, Mr. Temitope Akinlabi, Director of Administration and Human Resources and Mr. Adetiloye Ayodele, Training Officer, LNSA.
