LNSC OPERATIVES URGED TO REMAIN DISCIPLINED

Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Agency (LNSA) Board Chairman, DIG Israel Ajao (rtd) has enjoined operatives of Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Corps (LNSC) to always maintain a high level of discipline at all times.

DIG Ajao, speaking through the Agency’s Public Affairs Officer (PAO), Mr. Olawale Afolabi at the Monthly Parade /Physical Exercise held at the LNSC, Ikeja Divisional Command Office, Ikotun, said that success of the organisation depends on discipline through which it will also earn the respect and trust of the public.

He encouraged LNSC operatives to be diligent and hardworking, saying that with the welfare package provided by the State Government, they have no excuse not to do their jobs effectively and efficiently.

According to him, “You have this job, you have collected your appointment letters and you’re being paid as at when due, you don’t have any excuse not to do your jobs diligently”.

He further warned the operatives not to give any material of the security outfit to their friends or family members to use on their behalf.

On his part, the LNSC Ikeja Division Commander, Chief Corps Superintendent (CCS) Victor Olusegun Oshinfade admonished the operatives to be good ambassadors of LNSC in the division, warning them not to put on any material belonging to LNSC or go to polling units on Election Day without authorisation.

“On the forthcoming election, if you’re not part of the LNSC members accredited by the State Commissioner of Police, don’t go to any polling unit in uniform except as a voter”, the LNSC Commander advised.
