Opeyemi Agbaje, Member

Mr. Opeyemi Agbaje served first as Assistant General Manager (AGM) GT Bank in Financial Institutions and Correspondent Banking, managing the bank’s portfolio of merchant banks, capital market operators, primary mortgage institutions, DFIs and other non-bank FIs.  He later became the AGM Institutional Banking, managing corporate banking relationships, credit and risk management and marketing.

He went on to become an Executive Director at the then Metropolitan Bank Ltd., where he served in that capacity for a period of 3 years 6months.

Mr. Agbaje lectured in business strategy and the environment of business as a Senior Fellow, Head of Department of Strategy, Entrepreneurship & Business Environment at the Lagos Business School (LBS).

Mr. Opeyemi Agbaje is presently the Chief Executive officer, RTC Advisory Services Ltd., a strategy and business advisory firm with two main strategic business units; RTC Strategy and Advisory and RTC Policy.  RTC Strategy and Advisory works in corporate and competitive strategy, industry structure and analysis, organizational change and other areas of management consultancy while RTC Policy focuses on economy, development, regulation, policy and politics.

Mr. Agbaje is passionate about strategy and public policy, as well as the economic development of Nigeria.  He also seeks to contribute to the building of a new Nigeria based upon truth, integrity and sensible policies.
